The fundamental result of the module is a great understanding of exhibition operations in Berlin, and the context and differences in exhibition practice in Central Europe. The emphasis on the moving image is influenced by the trends that first appeared in the last Berlin Biennale and continue to determine a significant part of the current thinking.

This module is focused on learning about the current exhibition scene in Berlin with an emphasis on the movable image. During the excursion in Berline there was a combination of the widest range of manners of function in contemporary operations. The excursion preceded a thorough investigation of the Berlin scene and individual artists. Upon return there will be a review during presentation in the module.
