Expanding knowledge about important figures in Czech culture; spontaneous work with topics based on association elements of the creative process.

Course contents:

This course begins as a part of the Documentary Photography course. This means working with an assigned topic - image of Josef Vachala and his perception of landscape supported by lectures by Dr. Jiří Zemánek. We will shoot in inspirational landscapes of Sumava and will attend to staged photogarphy in the Art Center Kvild studio spaces.

Program: staged photography and documentary photography; lectures by Dr. Jiří Zemánek; topical excursions to the surroundings; work in the studio; discussions; final presentation.
