Sol is one of the most sought after producer in europe. Though still very young, his film have been showed at many of the most important festivals. Sol teaches at dffb Berlin and other institutions in Germany.

Sol Bondy was born in 1979 and grew up in London, Spain and Berlin. He studied Literature and Spanish for two years in Berlin. Later he studied film production at the German film school dffb Berlin. During his studies he produced many shorts that travelled all around the world, winning many prestigious prizes, such as German Camera Award or the LOLA – the German Short Film Prize in Gold. He graduated in 2010 with DIE VERMISSTEN (REPORTED MISSING), a full-length feature film, which premiered at the Berlinale and was nominated for the European Film Awards 2012. In 2013, he was recognized by Screen International as one of the “Future Leaders: Producers” for their Cannes special issue and graduated from the “Trans Atlantic Partners” program. Bondy subsequently teaches production at the dffb, Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, Met Film School and Raindance Institute Berlin.

FACTS ABOUT ONE TWO FILMS:

One Two Films was founded in October 2010 by Sol Bondy, Jamila Wenske and Christoph Lange in Berlin. Our focus is feature films for the international market and competitive television. The films are divided into director- and producer driven projects.

Sol Bondy and Jamila Wenske are creative producers who have studied film production at both of the main film schools in the region of Berlin-Brandenburg: dffb Berlin and HFF Konrad Wolf. Since entering the industry, they have gained practical experience and built a sol-id network within the market. Christoph Lange is the strategic investor with the entrepreneurial knowledge, supporting the company with business development.

In the last 5 years we produced 5 feature films: the 2012 Max Ophüls’ audience award winner, PUPPE, ICKE & DER DICKE (DOLL, THE FATSO & ME) by Felix Stienz, the Israeli-German coproduction YOUTH by Tom Shoval, which celebrated its international premi-ere at the Berlinale Panorama 2013, WHISPERS BEHIND THE WALL, a first feature for TV by Grzegorz Muskala which premiered in Rotterdam, the Danish-German co-production with Zentropa I AM HERE, directed by Andreas Morgenthaler and starring Kim Basinger, which is being sold by TrustNordisk, and finally the Indian-German co-production ANGRY INDIAN GODDESSES by Pan Nalin, which won recently the People´s Choice Award RUNNER UP at TIFF and will be released in Germany through NFP. In 2015, the international co-productions THE TALE by Jennifer Fox, FREEDOM by Jan Speckenbach and HIER by Balint Kenyeres are ready to shoot, as well as new work by Isabel Coixet.
