Learning outcomes of the course unit
The course task is to introduce students to the basic attributes of opera dramaturgy, such as, manner and reason for the selection of an opera, main division of opera voices and their proper arrangement, determining the casting of individual operas, planning rehearsals and basic needs.

Course contents
In the Opera Dramaturgy course students are introduced to the basic attributes of opera dramaturgy, such as, manner and reason for the selection of an opera, main division of opera voices and their proper arrangement, determining the casting of individual operas, planning rehearsals and basic needs.

Individual study.
Assessment methods and criteria
To comprehend the construction of an opera according to instructor's assignment, to select the most important figures and create a new libretto. Credit.
