Course contents

Course paper - topics: Organology, important historical instruments, portraits of prominent organ composers, analyses of important organ works for their composition and performance aspects.

Listenting to important recordings of organ music from all periods, recordings of individual students in public performance with discussions by the entire organ dept.

Recommended or required reading

Organ literature from the Early Baroque to the present.
