Learning outcomes of the course unit

To develop awareness and skills from the first semester on technically challenging repertoire, to mature in ability to interpret period repertoire in a given tempo and in maintaining all style characteristics. To acquire at a high level a sensitivity to the style and character of dance.

Mode of study

Practical in a dance hall. Introduction and gradual mastery of individual dance elements and subsequent reconstruction of a repertoire according to sources.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Completion of Dance Technique of the Second Half of the 18th Century 1. Knowledge of classic dance technique and Baroque dance technique.
