To introduce basic information about theatre operations management, creation of a production budget

To introduce basic information about fundraising in general and grant possibilities from the most common donators.

To introduce the basics of marketing

To introduce the basics of copyright

Lecture, Sample study analyses, discussion, writings, visiting and analysing theatre performance operations, management and fundraising.

Proper forms of theatre and theatre projects

Preparation for grant requests based on performance viewing

Credit is awarded based on:

Participation in class discussions is required. The exam is oral. The overall grading is comprised of 20% for class participation, 60% for the oral exam and 20% for the course paper.

Conditions for successfull completion of the course; class participation, completion of the course paper, passing of the oral exam.
