Learning outcomes of the course unit
The aim of these lectures is to provide students with basic knowledge in the world history of popular music and jazz with music examples from individual types, genres and styles.

Course contents
Lectures are arranged chronologically according to the periods - also demonstrating the conditioned contexts and genres. Emphasis is placed on the 1960s.
Recommended or required reading
To be gradually supplemented, the work of the lecturer Antonin Matzner should be used.
