The purpose of the coures is to expand knowledge in sound techniques and electro-acoustics.

Course contents

  1. Basic elements of electro-acoustic systems, presentation of electrical, mechanical and acoustic systems principles, equivalent circuits
  2. Electro-acoustical analogy, working with circuit systems and simplification methods, definition of electro-acoustic drives and lines.
  3. Microphones - principles, construction, characteristics. microphone equivalent circuits.
  4. Speakers - principles, construction, characteristics. speaker equivalent circuits.
  5. Speaker systems - basic proposals and constructions, parameters. speaker system equivalent circuits
  6. Active elements of electro-acoustic systems, amplifiers, pre-amps.
  7. Measuring parameters and characteristics of electro-acoustic systems, level diagra. PPM and VU meters, Goniometers, co-relators.
