Management of the technology used in contemporary electro-acoustic music.
Mode of study
Interactive instruction.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Basic knowledge of acoustics, electro-acoustics, music signals theory, music theory. Secure knowledge in working on PC and MacOS computers.

Differential synthesis in analog or digital (virtual) forms: KORG MS-20, Powertran Transcendent 2000, Arp Omni II, KORG Polysix, KORG MS-2000R, Roland JP-8080, Native instruments Pro-53
Summing synthesis: KORG DSS-1, Native instruments B-4
FM synthesis: YAMAHA DX-5, YAMAHA FS-1R, Native instruments FM-7
Sampling: KORG DSS-1, Akai Z-8, Steinberg Halion
Virtual acoustic synthesis: YAMAHA VL-1m, Creamware Noah
Fundamentals of linking and programming using MIDI protocol
Steinberg Cubase SX, basics of working with MIDI sequencing and audio recording
Automation and time dynamic parameters for sound synthesis and effect adjustments, mixing, mastering an electronic sound
Issues in setting sound for electronic compositions in real listening conditions.
