This course explains the basic events and concepts of physical, spatial and musical acoustics.

Basic knowledge of math and physics.
Course contents
1.Oscillation and its basic dimensions
- dampened and non-dampened oscillations, resonance
- Compostion of oscillations, harmonic tones, spectrum
- Wave in point order and its basic dimensions
- Gradual longitudinal and transverse waves
- wave reflection, interference, rise of standing longitudinal and transverse waves
- Spatial waves, plane and spherical waves
- Wave spread in gas, liquid and solid environments
- Huyghen's principle, wave spread around a barrier, reflection and bending waves
- The Doppler principle, boundary conditions, Chladni patterns
- Basic acoustic dimensions and their interpretation.
- Excursions to non-echoic locations, their use and physical properties.
