This course explains the basic events and concepts of physical, spatial and musical acoustics.

Basic knowledge of math and physics.
Course contents
Sound and music signals, definition of tone and noise
Objective and subjective properties of sound and their mutual relationships
Perception of consonance and dissonance
Geometric acoustics, sound waves and their reflection
Wave acoustics free oscillations in a space
Acoustics statistics, undertones, reverb, sound field
Definition of the period of reverb, standard period of reverb, resonance radius
Acoustic properties of interior elements, sound insulation
Objective and subjective parameters of the acoustic quality of spaces
Musical instruments in real spaces
Fundamental acoustic properties of concert and theatre spaces and recording studios
