  1. To acquaint the students with the critical reflection of vocal and vocal instrumental music
  2. Familiarize students with the formulation area for individual types of musical journalism
  3. To make the students aware of the principles of the scientific work of the analyzed work and its outputs

Course contents

Music and word 5 includes criticism, reviewing and journalistic activities and scientific processing of vocal instrumental music, melodrama and related genres

  1. Introduction to the Problem: Overview of Specific Factors for Assessing Works with Text
  2. problems of text selection and compositional processing
  3. the specifics of the recitation partnership in melodrama
  4. Specifics of the musical partnership in melodrama
  5. Specifics of conducting melodrama
  6. Specifics of the melodramatic overhead line
  7. criticism of concert performance
  8. The issue of sound recording of melodrama

9th reviews of live and studio recordings

  1. autograph and print of spoken text

11th article to the magazine about the selected melodramatic work

  1. principles of scientific processing
  2. Summary, discussion, types for further continuous self-education
