Learning outcomes of the course unit

Detailed work on selected compositions for Wind quintets by Czech and world composers. Development of skill from the previous level of instrument study focusing on coordination, ensemble homogenity, style purity in performance and expanding the repertoire.

Mode of study

Individual preparations under the guidance of the instructor and subsequent concert performance.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Completion of the Bachelor's Instrument study is required - playing an instrument which is part of the elective Chamber playing study.

Assessment methods and criteria

Credit is awarded based on exercise participation, study and presentation quality of at least 2 compositions for wind quintet in public performance.
