Learning outcomes of the course unit
The future instructor should learn to analyse the physical disposition of acting students. Create an individual instruction process corresponding to the requirements for the disposition.
The student themselves should master all exercises used and demonstrate their prinicples to the student, explain theory and in practice, execute them. The student is to comprehend the nature of words and language, dramatic writings and forms of verse.
Mode of study
Combination of theory study and practical exercises. Instruction with models.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
The closing of the third year of acting study. Quality speaking, character setting, healthy voice, ear for music, feedback skills and communication.
Course contents
The aim of the course is to acquire theory and practice knowledge for voice and speaking instruction professionals. Students are acquainted with various methods and steps in voice training, the physiological nature of and hygiene for the voice. Phonetics, pronunciation, prosody and voice acoustics.

Assessment methods and criteria
100% class attendance, active approach. General education in the field. Abilty to work with a model, Review of the instructional process steps. Theory knowledge.
The course is concluded in the Winter semester with a paper on the three basic three year concept of voice training and execution of instruction with a model (exam).
Note
Part of the course is the monitoring and review of performances in professional and student theatres. Reviews of the stage voice of the actors.
