Learning outcomes of the course unit
To extend experience in the function of one's body as a tool of stage action. To research the potential of partner cooperation.
This leads to the learning of skills with real and imaginary props.
An understanding of physical behaviour in a genre, working with masks, clowning.
Exercises cover work in groups and investigate the functioning of a group in a space, the geometric divisions of a space - circle, semi-circle, rows, group of diagonals, etc.
An aim is to cultivate spatial and tempo-rhythmic feeling.
Students begin with independent work on acting and movement-dance etudes.
Mode of study
Exercises, analyses of media recording examples.

Talent and creativity requirements.
This study is linked to the completion of 201JEA1 and 201JEA2.
Course contents
In this course, Theatre Movement, students become aware of the internal concept of their own bodies.
This course develops movement thought, non-verbal conmmunication, supports independent creative activity, imagination and teamwork.
Furthermore the course aids in the understanding of the inherent rules of theatre presentation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded: 60% based on activity in exercises, (minimum 85% attendance during the semester), 40% participation for the final summary work.
