Learning outcomes of the course unit
Expand experience in the function of one's own body as a tool of stage action.
Expand the understanding of physical behaviour in a genre, working with masks, clowning, Commedia dell' arte.
Students are to learn skills in using drama situations, joining the spoken word and possibly singing.

Exercises, analyses of media recording examples.

Talent and creativity.
Study is linked to previous study in 201JEA1, 201JEA2, and 201JEA3.
Course contents
In this Theatre Movement students learn to be aware of the internal concept of their own bodies.
This course develops movement thought, non-verbal conmmunication, supports independent creative activity, imagination and teamwork.
Furthermore the course aids in the understanding of the inherent rules of theatre presentation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded: 60% based on activity in exercises, (minimum 85% attendance during the semester), 40% participation for the final summary work.
