Learning outcomes of the course unit

To expand experience in the function of one's own body as an instrument of stage action.

To expand the understanding of physical behaviour in a genre, working with masks, clowning, Commedia dell' arte.

Students are to have abilities for use drama situations in joining the spoken word, possibly singing.

Emphasis is place on independence in preparations for the summary work.

Mode of study

Exercises, analyses of media recording examples.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Instruction is linked to the completion of 201JEA1, 201JEA2, 201JEA3 and 201JEA4.

Course contents

In theatre movement, students reflect upon skills and procedures adopted in the previous study. Independently they work on preparations for the study year final work.

This course develops movement thought, non-verbal conmmunication,teamwork, expands independent creative activity, initiates imagination.

The content of this semester is linked to a particular program or project as a class of acting and set creation and includes preparations for working at DISK.

Assessment methods and criteria

Credit is awarded for 60% active participation in exercises (minimum 70% attendance) and 40% for the final summary work.
