Learning outcomes of the course unit
Getting to know the operation and artistic practice of professional theatre.
Mode of study
Collaboration on production preparations with a professional dramaturgist and director. Attendance at tests and lectures.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Internship in a professional theatre under the guidance of an experienced director and dramaturgist, best in accordance with the schedule of the prepared production.
Course contents
Curriculum:
Dependent on the management of a professional director and dramaturg.
Syllabus:
The student is usually placed as an assistant director or lector of dramaturgy in a short-term internment in a professional theatre. Here he becomes acquainted with concrete practice, not only in an artistic sense but also operational and technical. He takes part in all the rehearsals and participates in the preparation of specific performances. He gets to know the various professions that cooperate in preparing a performance.

Assessment methods and criteria
The joining in of the student to the internship, and assistance in the production is graded.
