Introduction to fundamental steps and rhythmic examples of tap and swing technique.

Study exercises.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Ability to master Tap step sequences, development of feeling for rhythm.
Course contents
Rehearsal of steps, basic taps of that technique and gradual connection of them into a rhythmic whole.

Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded based on 70% attendance at exercises and 30% participation in the year-end committee review.
