Learning outcomes of the course unit
To acquaint students with the basics of Czech Folk Dance, learning the basic choreographies and an understanding of the roots of folk culture.

Ability to master movement examples, developed creativity.
Course contents
Syllabus:
Instruction leads students to distinguish between genres and dance styles. In varying degrees it also means acquiring skills, broadening the dance range, developing partnering, working with costumes and props. To a certain extent the semester's content is connected to a topic in acting work.
Curriculum:
Czech and Moravian Folk Dance.

Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded based on activity in class, (85% attendance) and the final summary choreography.
