Course contents
Syllabus:
Instruction leads students to distinguish between genres and dance styles, to varying degrees it also helps acquaint them with a skill, broadens the dance range, develops partnering, work with costumes and props. To a certain degree the content of the semester is connected to the subject of drama work.
Czech social dances of the 19th Century (Salon dances).

Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded based on activity in class, (85% attendance) and the final summary choreography.
