Learning outcomes of the course unit
A comprehension of the sense and structure in the interpretation of various types of verse (alexandrin, blankvers, etc.) and various poetry forms (sonnet, Willions Ballad, etc.).
Mode of study
Individual instruction according to need, at least 30 (45) min. per week.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
This course is linked to Speech Training, completion of at least 2 semester required, independent preparations at home included.
Course contents
According to need and experience of independent students we will cover verse writings from the „simplest“ (supported by narrative) to the „complex“ (without plot support). We attempt discover the motoized events (Jan Mukařovský) in verse of individual poets and find in the poem themselves instructions for interpretation.

Credit (grading) based on work during the semester and mastery of interpreting writing at the summary exam.
