Instruction is done by contact (individual lesson hours).

Prerequisites and co-requisites

To register for this course the student must have credit for the previous semester (204ZPV3).

Course contents

Curriculum:

1. Gradually increase the difficulty of breathing exercises and combine them with simple body exercises.
2. Vocal exercises with an octave range, figured scale exercises, arpeggios of major and minor tonic chords.
3. Repertoire-folk songs, easy songs from plays. Each solo singing teacher chooses breathing and voice exercises and adapts them to the individual needs and abilities of students. This also applies to the choice and range of repertoire.

Syllabus:

Increasing the difficulty of breathing exercises taking into account the individual student, exercises on one or two tones at a slow tempo. Vocal exercises of figured scales, tonic arpeggios and combining arpeggios with scale procedures. Using of various melodies to practice a smooth cantilena.

Assessment methods and criteria

Credit is awarded based on participation in individual class hours.

End of semester: ZK.

Successfull completion of the exam: performance of 1 folk song, 1 arie antiche, 1 acting song (all songs with piano accompaniment).

Note

The song repertoire is influenced by the singing talents of the student.
