Learning outcomes of the course unit
Enable students to formulate evaluation criteria for children's drama works. Introduction to subject literature. Considering of issues for research.
Mode of study
Readings, discussion, media recording sample analyses, text analyses.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
- Completion of Literature Theory and History for children and youth.
- Ability to analyze and interpret artistic text and dramatic work.
- Interest in creations for children and youth.
Course contents
An elective course which provides students a glimpse into issues of theatre for children and youth.
- presentation of assesment criteria for drama programs for children,
- viewing selected recorded performances, films or television productions,
- discussions over viewed programs,
- sections in the history of theatre for children and youth.
