Learning outcomes of the course unit
Prepare students to select a theme for their diploma work and its elaboration. Prepare a theme proposal and its registry for management by the department and study section.
Mode of study
Readings, discussions, text analyses, diploma paper defense, trade literature study.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
- Thorough bearing in drama training and related trades issues.
- Study of fundamental professional literature.
- Ability to conceive, form and write a profesional text.
Course contents
Outline:
- Introduction to a selection of to-date diploma and bachelor works defended at the Drama Education Department of DAMU.
- Selection of work theme.
- Elaboration of diploma or bachelor work proposal.
Syllabus:
- Criteria for selecting a project for the baccalaureate work, or magisterial work theme.
- Work evaluation criteria.
- Professional style.
- Working with subject literature, citations, references.
- Bibliography.
- Lay-out and graphics.
- Processing, management, examinar, defense.
