Learning outcomes of the course unit

The internship aim is to offer students a structured practice in real theatre in which they purposefully work on their education role. Through shadowing, assisting, observation, the student in acquainted with theatre production and operations, maps their environment and creates a program offering, a project, which melds art and education to serve the needs and potential of the theatre and the region.

Course contents

The clinic internship offers students a broad spectrum of activity linked to clinic workplaces and the region in which it is found. Students are acquainted with the operation of a real workplace which offers theatre production but also including teaching and education activity. Through shadowing, assisting, observation, the student joins its work and in internship participates in lectures and workshops oriented to joining art and education. Part of the internship will be field research and creation of a project offering which would manage the potential of the theatre, education and needs of the region (schools, community, wider public)

Recommended or required reading

The recommended literature will be developed from the lecture program and workshop which will occur during the internship

Assessment methods and criteria

Participation in the internship program, 100% attendance.

Creation of a written concept of a arts-education program for clinic workplaces.
