Learning outcomes of the course unit

  1. The student defines themself in the position of a quality drama education/theatre instructor.
  2. The student receives feedback regarding their socio-professional profile from classmates and reflects upon it.
  3. The student confers those comments in simple forms in transferring into their practice.
  4. Testing/consolidating/developing according to the needs of the group selected personaland social skills necessary for performance in the profession.

Mode of study

Self-discovery and self-reflection activities; discussions; practical communication exercises; analysis of comments about one's self in comparison to Self-concept theory.

No prerequisites.

Course contents

A single-semester required course focused on the self-reflection of the future aesthetic- and artistic training instructor. In particular from the viewpoint of personal suppositions for practicing this profession and social skills related to performance.

  1. Reflections upon the concept of one's socio-professional „me“.
  2. Personal vividness.
  3. I, as a member of a group.
  4. I, as an instructor.
