Learning outcomes of the course unit

Prepare students to select a theme for their diploma work and its elaboration. Prepare a theme proposal and its registry for management by the department and study section.

Mode of study

Readings, discussion, trade literature study.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

• Thorough bearing in drama training and related trades issues.
• Study of fundamental professional literature.
• Ability to conceive, form and write a profesional text.

Course contents

Outline:

• Introduction to a selection of to-date diploma and bachelor works defended at the Drama Education Department of DAMU.
• Selection of work theme.
• Elaboration of diploma or bachelor work proposal.

Syllabus:

• Criteria for selecting a project for the baccalaureate work, or magisterial work theme.
• Work evaluation criteria.
• Professional style.
• Working with subject literature, citations, references.
• Bibliography.
• Lay-out and graphics.
• Processing, management, examinar, defense.
