Learning outcomes of the course unit
- To give the students a bearing in the field of project financing sources from the perspective of government, state, European and private sources.
- To give students knowledge in the area of project feasibility
- To give students the knowledge necessary for preparing and developing a budget and the cash flow for a project.
- To give students knowledge in the area of evaluating financial risk.
- To give students knowledge of project contract provisions and also tax and accounting issues in relation to executing the project.
- To acquaint students with the economic impact of cultural projects.
Mode of study
Instruction will be in classes which will take place regularly once a week throughout the entire Winter semester.

Course contents
- Defining the concept of a project and its financing - introductory class.
- Domestic and foreign sources of project financing.
- Project feasibility studies.
- Project preparations - budget.
- Project cash flow.
- Foreign sources focusing on bank loans and leasing.
- Application toos for evaluating financial uncertainties.
- Managing and coordinating financial operations.
- Evaluating the measure of financial risk.
- Project contract provisions.
- Tax issues in relation to project financing.
- Accounting issues in relation to project financing.
- Economic impact of cultural projects.

Assessment methods and criteria
80% attendance is required in class. During the classes the student will sit small tests on selected topics which will be a part of en overall student grade at the final exam. The final exam will be a test.
