Course contents

Basic conceptual structures,

system of symbols,

analysis of form and content of non-verbal and verbal expression and their contexts, culture in the media.

Assessment methods and criteria

Credit is awarded based on:

a presentation (70% class attendance),

class collaboration,

completion of the course paper.

During the semester participation in class discussions and exercises is required.

Conditions for successfull completion of the course: required participation in class, completion and grading of the course paper with personal participation.
