Learning outcomes of the course unit

1.Students will be able to use Project Management tools and methodologies to perform the student festival production project.

2.During the festival, students will be able to self-reflect on their activities and their impact, to communicate with other students and actively solved problematic or unpleasant situations that may occur.

3.According to their individual capabilities, students will be able to give and receive feedback, react flexibly to actual project situations, and work within their own borders and respect borders of others.

Mode of study

Group activities, students bring their own specific task or problems that occur within the festival realization. The course is held in four five-hour education blocks.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Completion of preceding subject Project Management I.

Course contents

The goals of the course are the active use of the project management principles within realization of the student festival. The classes are focused on concrete practical examples and real life situations that are presented by students. A big emphasis is put on personal and interpersonal aspect of those situations. Usually analyzed and solved areas are:

-Evaluating and controlling the project plan and the critical path.

-Change management.

-Problem Management.

-Risk Management.

Assessment methods and criteria

Independent activity of students is expected. Students will bring their own practical problems arising from the project management and issues to be solved in the class.

The subject will be credited when the student fulfills 75 percent of course hours by active participation in the class.
