Learning outcomes of the course unit
- To introduce students to production spaces and professional theatre practice.
- To introduce students to types of stage technology, including examples of Prague theatre stages.
- To introduce students to the dramaturgical and repertoire plan in connection with production preparations, including the rehearsal process and production scenery.
- To introduce students to fire protection and occupational safety and health protection in theatre operations.
Mode of study
Lectures containing examples from excursions to theatre buildings - stage technology, production workshop.

- Production of scene layout.
- Production of costume layout.
