  1. Introduction to the basics of sound (technolgie, work system, economic aspects) in theatre.
  2. Introduction to scene lighting basics (technolgie, work system, economic aspects) in theatre.
  3. Expansion of theatre stage equipment knowledge.

Mode of study

Lectures, classes, demonstrations of light and sound use in theatre operation.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Students must be prepared for the established demands of equipping a theatre space with equipment according to the production stage designer requirements.

Course contents

Syllabus:

  1. Basic schemes and systems of theater technologies.

2.-3. Sound, sounding, sound technologies, sound engineer profession.

4.-5. Practical seminar on sound technology.

6.-7. Light, lighting, lighting technologies, lighting profession.

8.-9. Practical seminar on light technology.

  1. Video, Video Technologies.
  2. Excursion.
  3. Technical and performing documentation.
