Learning outcomes of the course unit
- Introduce students to issues of management and marketing in the arts, primarily in theatre activity including theatre operations.
- To acquire an orientation in the issues of public service thatre, theatre entrepreneurship and non-profit theatre.
Mode of study
Presentation, discussion, audio-visual recording and press analysis.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
- General knowledge of theatre operations.
- Analytical and review skills.
- Creativity.
Course contents
- Civil society and the non-profit sector.
- Finanical sources for non-profit organizations, financial direction.
- Fundraising, fundraising techniques and methods.
- Public relations of non-profit organizations.
- Enterprise in culture, Entreprenurial and non-entreprenurial subjects in theatre activity.
- Production activity, rise and creation of a project, cultural events advising - festivals, events.
- Marketing in production.
- Production activities protected by law, copyright.
