The aim of this masterclass is to extend the horizons in the context of contemporary art house cinematography but also to have an insight look into the filming process and style of Yves Cape.

- 11./ 17:30/ Yves Cape is interviewed by film journalist Jakub Felcman.
Belgian director of photography Yves Cape is known foremost thanks to the long lasting cooperation with extravagant French director Bruno Dumant (Humanité, Flanders, Outside Satan). He also worked with Claire Denis (White Material), Leos Carax (Holy Motors) or freshly with awarded Michel Franco (Chronic). Master Class is held in English with free entry.

This is a practical masterclass where the participants will be able to assist to a real shooting ,Mr. Cape will show them how to compose a small etude - café scene. The participants of the master class will receive a short script before to think over how they would film it themselves. Students will have a unique opportunity to see how Mr. Cape works on the spot , using a light and compositions...
