Czech premiere ? Valley of Love

Valley of Love is a 2015 French film directed by Guillaume Nicloux, starring Gérard Depardieu and Isabelle Huppert. It tells the story of two famous actors who used to be a couple and had a son 25 years ago. They reunite after the son's death, and receive a letter asking them to visit five places at Death Valley, which will make the son reappear. It was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

Guillaume Nicloux will explain his special way how to direct actors as well how to write the perfect scrit and dialogs which fit to the acters.

Q&A will moderate Tomas Pavlicek.

Guillaume Nicloux is a French film and theater director, an actor, a screenwriter, a novelist and a teacher. He began his career as a director and an actor in theaters across the whole Paris. He deputed with a short film titled Les enfants volants, followed by his feature length film Faut pas rire du bonheur. To his Czech audience he is most known for his outstanding adaptation of The Nun by Denis Diderot as well as his participation in the Golden Palm competition at the Film Festival in Cannes with the film Valley of Love. Valley of Love will have an exlusive premier followed by a directing masterclass at Famufest EXPOSED. Guillame Nicloux is an active pedagogue at the film school La Fémis in Paris.
