Practical adoption of shooting and post-production processing of a short exercise.

Preparations in the course, independent completion and analysis of shooting material with the instructor.

Completion of the course, „Camera Basics.“
Course contents
Course practical for 1st-year bachelor's at the Dept. Scriptwriting and Dramaturgy:
image etude of 3-5 minutes in the Basics of Cameraman Practice course, students implement the exercise independently acting in all professions.

Shooting technology: HDV camera, Canon 5D
Resulting format: image: HDV, H.264 (MPEG-4)
Footage: 3-5 minutes

Material: 1 cassette HDV 60 or SD card
Image technology: HDV camera or Canon 5D, without lighting
Editing: 2 frequency (AVID, FC) editing technology.
Sound post-production: in the editing frequency
Transfer: DCP, QT (.mov) Apple Prores 1920*1080, DVD FAMU video archives
Archiving: DVD video - FAMU video archives.

Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded based on:
Active participation in preparations, presentation of rough material for analysis with the instructor and submission of the complete exercise on a DV cassette and DVD.
