Learning outcomes of the course unit
The course aim is to orient the students in television genres and formats and to introduce the newest trends in the development of television programs domestically and abroad. The focus is to acquaint students with modern television forms. Students are acquainted with how television programs develop.

Recommended or required reading

Students are recommended to monitor the articles of Czech and Foreign television series' articles.
Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded based on class participation and the assigned written paper of at least 2 standard pages which the student submits the subject matter of a television series, sitcom or reality TV format (other formats may be chosen and must be agreed upon).
