Learning outcomes of the course unit
The aim of the first phase of instruction is to complete a screenplay for a short film.
The second phase covers the execution of the readied text.
The focus of instruction is to create a screenplay in which the writer demonstrates skills in film vision and narration. The writing form should herald the film language of the shot, reflect the future reader - director and find descriptions which help to precisely interpret events, characters and the atmosphere.
The director, who takes up the screenplay is to attempt to understand its entire breadth and its start and layers, which, in the end, means that the writer - director understand, thoroughly the creative intent of the writer-screenwriter.
The aim of the course is the investigation and the rediscovery of the rules of mutual artistic collaboration of the screenwriter and the director which, in the end, leads to an enrichment of the work as a whole.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
U obou profesí se předpokládá ochota k vzájemné spolupráci, která zahrnuje vnímavost k specifikům, osobitosti a rukopisu tvůrčího partnera.
Course contents
Cílem semináře je připravit krátké scénáře (v rozsahu cca 15 minut) a dovést je k realizaci.
Tvůrčím záměrem semináře je prohloubení spolupráce mezi katedrou scenáristiky a dramaturgie a katedrou režie.
