Learning outcomes of the course unit
The exercise aim is to introduce students to the theory and practice potential of the FAMU Studio, and the technology and services of the Studio. Students in the exercies adopt particularts of working in a film studio.

Course contents
Group practice exercise of the 2nd and 3rd study year of the Directing Dept. in collaboration with the Camera, Sound and Editing Depts.. The content of the exercise is the shooting using recording equipment and post-production according the the following:
FAMU Studio - A uniform group structure for the entire study year
Shooting technology: digital film camera (BMD Ursa Mini)
Pure footage: 7-10 minutes
Shooting days: 3 days
Image technology: 1x digital film camera (BMD Ursa Mini) + accessories, studio lighting
Sound Technology: HD recording and accessories
Image post-production: 15fr. Avid, 2 fr. grading worktable
Sound Post-production: 6 fr. sound editing, 2 fr. mixing table
Data development: Copy of source data from shooting on CDU/Elements
Archiving: - .mov file minimum 1920x1080, ProRes 422(HQ)
