Course contents

The Implementation workshop is the main professional course for Documentary Dept. students. The focus of its content is the most intensive communication with the workshop lead instructor.

The Implemenation workshop is an association arising from the mutual choice of the students and instructor in which free creative impulses arise and in the process of creation are developed into a particular project in an atmosphere of working cooperation, instructively effective communication of professional experience in all phases of the work and open discussions in which personal viewpoints, artistic manifestations and individual signature are refined and consolidated.

The basis of the work is proper analyses of student subject matter in collective and individual workshops, discussions over their potential social and artistic effect and a systematic presentation on how to proceed in their implementation. In the creation phase (shooting and compositional development) the instructor analyzes material, primarily in the editing room.

The Implementation workshop guides the student to not succumb to a professional rut but to strive in their exploration and investigation of form to surprise not only the audience but themselves as well. The students are guided to exploring manners in which to understand current events and the time in which we live and an ability to reflect them in documentary film.
