Course contents

Final project for the course „Visual preparation of feature film 1 and 2“. This is an exercise practical in Studio FAMU including all knowledge and results from classes and workshops.

This is a group project for camera, set design, costuming and make-up, and Camera and Directing Depts. instructors.

The assignment is created by: Ondřej Nekvasil, Katarína Štrbová Bieliková, Zdeněk Klika, Petra Lebdušková

The result is to be a simple given figure in a space - ex: A. Dvořák's workroom, Emmy Destinova's bedroom....

Preparations:

MOODBOARD - table format A1/B1

Implementation - STUDIO FAMU

In the Studio FAMU a simple set is prepared - the corner of a room with a selected structure of shadows and color.

Set-design students prepare set design, costuming students prepare costumes and make-up

Camera students prepare equipment and light the space

Directing students prepare a short etude and acquire actors.

Make-up artist, Zdeněk Klika with costuming and make-up students prepare actors - demostrating procedures in preparing actors

Costumer, Katarína Štrbová Bieliková guides the students to costuming and make-up in costuming preparation

Ondřej Nekvasil guides set-design students in preparing the space

Camera dept. instructors help camera students with lighting and equipment

Directing dept. instructors guide students in working with actors.
