Acquainting students with the various types of lighting technology for working in a studio. Examples in the studio.

Course contents

Part 1. Introduction to yellow lights 3200K to 2kw intensity (dedo 150W, comprised of ARRI with Fresnel lenses, ex. 300W, 650W, 1kW, 2kW, or respectively something of that - samples of frosts in 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 frams an full intensity, examples of gels in 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 frames, and full CTO, same series of CTB, „chimney“ examples (ex: on ARRI 300W) working with „negri“ (examples of darkening lamps and changes of the color warmth of lighting).

Part 2. Comparison of Yellow lighing and intensity vs HMI lamps (ex: 5Kw VS 2.5Kw HMI) Working with frosts, gels, „negry“, exposers or „cucoloris“ - if available.

Part. 3. LED lamps - selection of some LED lamps, ex: Skypanel S-30 - intensity, example of bi-color changes, presentatin of programing effects (ex: fire, lightning, firemen, .....). Sample examples: LED lamps such as Aladdin Biflex for similar. Further 3rd LED lights, ex: small LED panels appropriate for cares (lighting a computer monitor or television...)

Part 4. Evaluation, individual work with lamp testing, ex: lighting a simple model situation with students.
