Learning outcomes of the course unit

To introduce students with the fundamentals of digital post-production VFX technologies. Students completing the course will understand the basic principles of how to prepare and with whom to complete a project with VFX scenes. Instruction is through presentation and screenings of samples for all covered VFX techniques.

Přednáška formou prezentace, obrazový doprovod,ukázky z tvorby klasických filmových triků prováděných v kameře a duplikačními technologiemi i v digitální postprodukci. Analýza ukázek s podrobným rozborem. Projekce trikových pasáží,vše za přítomnosti autora většiny těchto ukázek.Diskuse s posluchači o jejich projektech.

Completion of lectures by ing.Hřebačky - Digitální Workflow1.

Completion of lectures Colorimetrics by, doc.Mgr.Weiser –VFX I..

Course contents

This course continues lectures from the VFX I course. The lecturer guides students through the fundamentals of VFX technology in the film and television industry in film examples from around the world and from cameraman practice. There are preparations of project with VFX scenes and the basics of workflow in production and post-production. Simultaneous with the lectures, there will be classes with practical tasks in „VFX exercises“ in the department studio in LP and in the LDK workshop. Students complete the tasks individually under the supervision of teaching asst. J. Ježek and assoc prof. A.Weiser.
