Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students verify, in practice, the creation and production of an audio-visual work their theory knowledge. The aim of the exercise is to teach students to use their theory knowledge in practice, to teach production students to cooperate in the creation of an audio-visual work with students of other studies and lead the entire team in the creation and production of an audio-visual work.
Mode of study
Producer practice in exercises. The workshop lead will provide consultation upon request.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Proficient knowledge of AVD production technology. Knowledge of copyright and commercial law. Ability to independently lead a team.
Course contents
The student, acting as a producer ensures the entire execution of the group exercise from the preparation committee and consultation, through the executive committee, shooting, entire post-production to the final accounting in the FAMU Studio. A requirement for the award of credit points for the execution exercise is confirmation by the FAMU studio director (or his authorized representative) of the submission of complete documentation for the exercise. A reduced number of credit points will be received by students who participate in the exercise as the Production lead with full responsibility for the sucessful execution of the exercise and in fulfilling the aforementioned requirements, if in execution of the exercise collaborates with a production assistant.
