Course contents
Visioni Italiane is a review of young Italian film which is organized every year between February and March by the prestige institution - Cineteca di Bologna. Students obtain the opportunity to view a selection of short films presented during this year's event. All films by students at Italian film schools are screened at Visoni Italiane as well as independent filmmakers and the self-taught. No less, most of the awarded filmmakers through the year enter into the professional film industry and take part in the generational rebirth of Italian film. FAMU students can compare their film work to the quality of their Italian colleagues. The film program will be placed into context through a introductory lecture and final group discussion.
