Learning outcomes of the course unit
The course aim is an introduction to the application fundamental film theory to principles of editing composition.
Mode of study
Discussions, media example analyses, text analyses, presentation of one's own paper on an assigned topic.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Completion of „Editing Composition Theory 1.“
Course contents
The course deals with the application of basic film theories using specific editing examples. It presents a brief historical overview of film theories in the context of editing and leads to an analysis of specific films.
