Learning outcomes of the course unit

The projects in master's studies present the aim to broaden inspirational sources for the students and link theory and the history of art with studio instruction. Emphasis is placed on one's own review of contemporary theoretical theses, the historical development of individual medium and artistic projects within the given topic. An essential part is one's research topic, communicating information and the final presentation on appropriate media.

Course contents

Photography, object and sculpture

The project researches the differecnce between 2D and 3D depiction, the relationship of the object to photography and photography to the object, an installation or other space media. The course includes a definition and interpretation of the concept of photography, object and sculpture, their mutual relationship and the limits in depiction.
