Learning outcomes of the course unit

Předmět fotografie a kniha je zaměřen na tvorbu knižního objektu.

Zahrnuje last především oblast autorské knihy.

Náplní předmětu je práce na knižním projektu, který je součástí závěrečné magisterské zkoušky.

Důraz je kladen na obsahovou a formální jednotu výsledného díla.

Course contents

The requirement for master's study is at least an advanced knowledge of graphics software and a basic overview of lettering and layout.

Topic: In context (editorial design, magazine creation, promotional creations)

Outcome: Composites - creation of a comprehensive graphics image made up of original or appropriated photo-material, orignal layout and artistic elements. The topics set the series of assignments which are dependent on the presentation of trends, figures in contemporary graphic design and subsequent discussions. The outcome may be a publication, photo-editorical, leaflet or series of posters. Focus will be placed on dialog, formal quality and aesthetic development.
